Crip Camp Virtual Watch Party

Get your popcorn ready! From 6 to 8 PM, on Sunday, May 16th, the evening before our 2021 State Convention, we are hosting a viewing of the 2020 Netflix Documentary Crip Camp: A Disability Revolution. The award-winning documentary features the story of Camp Jened, a summer camp for teens with disabilities, and dives into their stories of becoming disability rights activists. One activist featured in the documentary is our Convention Plenary Speaker, Judy Heumann, who reflects on her activism journey.

Following the viewing, we will have a discussion of the movie and your impressions! This free viewing is open to anyone who wishes to attend! Register through the button below to receive the zoom link to watch with us and live-react to the documentary.
